Flight to Kharga from Cairo/Luxor
We visit the Pharaonic Hibis Temple.
Near by we find Bagawat and make a walk through the cemetery: It is a Christian cemetery with chapels built between the 4th and 7th century. In the chapels we find wall- and ceiling paintings with Christian stories.
Our next step is Nadura Temple. It is located on the cross of the ancient way “Darb el Arbain” between Sudan and Cairo and the track from east to west.
After we see Qasr Mustapha Kashif we visit the pottery school.
We take dinner and overnight in Labakha Camp.
After breakfast we go on old caravan track to the protected area Umm Dabadib. There we take our lunch under very old acacia trees. After the visit of the fortress and the old Roman village, we visit the area of Ain el Labakha with the Roman fortress, Temple and village.
Near there we make a stop on the Graphic Mountain.
We take the dinner and overnight in Labakha Camp. For groups we make a Bedouin party.
We visit the Pharaonic Ghweita Temple and enjoy the afternoon in the hot spring near there.
Back to Kharga airport.
